A new report by WalletHub has ranked the best — and worst — places to drive in America.The rankings compared 100 of the largest U.S. cities across a variety of measures, including:Cost of ownership and maintenanceTraffic and infrastructureSafetyAccess to vehicles and maintenance“Living in one of the best cities to drive in can make owning and maintaining a car much cheaper,” said WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo. “However, costs aren’t the only factors that matter; the best cities for drivers also minimize commute times and traffic congestion, have accident rates well below the national average and keep their roads in good condition.”Nationally, the top-ranked cities turned out to be Scottsdale, Arizona (No. 1); Boise, Idaho (No. 2); and Fort Wayne, Indiana (No. 3).But Florida wasn’t left out of the top 10; Jacksonville managed to eke its way into the No. 9 slot, scoring high for ownership and maintenance costs.
