Sinkhole closes eastbound lanes of Welch Road in Apopka

A sinkhole has closed the eastbound lanes of Welch Road east of Rock Springs Road in Apopka, according to the Apopka Police Department.Crews are working to repair the issue, and officials said the work is expected to take several hours.Drivers are urged to use alternate routes until the roadway is cleared.
