Orlando hospital brings Halloween fun to young patients — Altamonte Springs Health news

Halloween came a little early for some young patients at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando.Children got into the Halloween spirit by dressing up in their favorite costumes and enjoying plenty of candy during a special celebration held one day before Halloween. The event was made possible through the hospital’s Child Life Program, which works to make the hospital experience less stressful and more comfortable for patients and their families. The celebration gave children a chance to enjoy some Halloween fun and experience a little bit of normalcy while receiving care in the hospital. For these young patients, it was a sweet reminder that even a hospital stay can’t keep the Halloween spirit away.Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
