Carnival Freedom returns to Central Florida with new look after dry dock

Carnival Freedom is returning to Central Florida with a new look following a 35-day dry dock in France.Carnival Cruise Line said the ship received a new whale tail funnel, redesigned casino, refreshed arcade and retail spaces, and accessibility improvements. The casino now has more than 100 additional gaming machines.The ship also features Carnival’s new “From Sea to Shining Sea” bow crest.Carnival Freedom will first sail an eight-day Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona, followed by a 13-day transatlantic voyage.The ship is scheduled to arrive at Port Canaveral on Oct. 30, where it will be based through May 2027 before repositioning to Norfolk, Virginia.Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
